Sergy is a little town still growing, located at the foot of the Jura, in the triangle Crozet - Saint-Genis-Pouilly - Thoiry, in the Pays de Gex, east of Ain department (01) and close to Geneva.
One can admire two castles, the Bath Castle in Sergy-Haut and the Pictet Castle near the village centre. Both are privately owned today.
The CERN has established a BigBang platform at the place of the Alice Experience, accessible through the Tatte area.
One also finds numerous hiking trails in Sergy, which nature lovers will enjoy.
